Themed footpaths

The best way to scale Mt Sabotin (609 m) is to hike there. There are several signposted footpaths from different directions:

Walk of Peace – Šmartno – Sabotin – Nova Gorica
Gorica Circle of Peace – loop trail from Solkan over the north side to the summit and back down to the valley over the south side
Brda Circle of Peace – loop trail on the west side of Mt Sabotin
Juliana trail – Šmartno – Solkan leg
Šmaverska trail – the trail starts at the cemetery in the village of Šmaver/San Mauro, Italy, connecting with the Gorica Circle of Peace
