The most scenic and best way to get to Mt Sabotin is on foot. The footpaths are signposted. The views will not disappoint.

Mt Sabotin and the surrounding Mt Sveta Gora and Mt Škabrijel are great for cyclists. The rather steep trails are open to traffic and lined with memorials from the Great War. Please ride according to your own abilities and observe road traffic regulations. Make sure you are properly equipped, and note that going off-road is prohibited.
There are two routes:
Running along the foothills of Mt Sabotin is the Plave – Nova Gorica cycling trail which is part of a network of cross-border cycling and walking trails. In Solkan, the cycling trail crosses Soča River over a footbridge.

Consider using the car as your final option to reach the summit of Sabotin. Opting for alternatives way to get there will allow you to fully take in the beauty and minimize environmental impact.

NOTE: The road leading to Sabotin via Podsabotin (past the agritourism farm Pri Bregarju) suggested by Google Maps is an unpaved road and unsuitable for motor vehicles.
